The secret was out! Just a few days back, it was announced that Arteezy, Abed and Cr1t will stay at Evil Genius after a disappointing run at The International 2020. It was then announced that Fly and iceiceice were released. Soon after, iceiceice posted looking for a team.

The news came not long after Team Secret had parted ways with zai and MATUMBAMAN as The International 10 ended. Team Secret had their best run at The International 10 coming in second runner-up after being defeated by PSG.LGD and also lost to Team Spirit in the Lower Bracket Final. The championship was won by underdog, Team Spirit.
Daryl “iceiceice” Koh has been a popular figure in the Dota scene having raked up 10 at least 10 years Dota experience and have played with many top teams. His best achievement to date was reaching second runner up with Singapore team, Scythe.SG during the first International (The International 2011). Natus Vincere eventually won that tournament. Scythe.SG subsequently disbanded. He had a very long career in Asia Pacific region and even played for China eSports teams such as Vici Gaming and EHOME before coming back to Southeast Asia with Mineski and Fnatic. Last, he flew to the United States to join Evil Geniuses.
iceiceice is one of the top offlaner players in Dota. He is not only a very experienced having participated in almost every The International tournament, he is very capable of controlling games himself. In the last Dota Pro Circuit 2021, he has helped Evil Geniuses reached first place in point rankings. His top picks for offlane were late game heroes such as Lycan, Sand King, Timbersaw and Tidehunter which have advance difficulty.
With his new venture with Team Secret, he will pair up with captain, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov alongside with old timers, Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat and Michał “Nisha” Jankowski. The team has been very fluid in their gameplay and is very adaptive with positioning. Team Secret released a teaser with a comic strip showing iceiceice taking a backseat sitting on a Secret Lab chair with his heart-shaped boxers and holding a cup of water with three ice cubes. The title of the episode, Pants Off, signifies iceiceice’s unorthodox playstyle and convincing trolls which would being a lot of excitement for Team Secret.

Shortly after the announcement, Team Secret subsequently revealed that SumaiL, one of the best Dota players of all time, has joined Team Secret roster. He was youngest player to lift the Aegis of Champions after leading Evil Geniuses all the way to the top at The International 2015. He continued to help Evil Geniuses maintained their dominance over North America before moving to two-time champions, OG. However, he soon left after encountering problems with international travel due to the pandemic and could not reunite with the team. OG was knocked out in the first round of the tournament in The International 2020.
With the addition of SumaiL, Team Secret is now complete and a strong force to be reckoned with. It is likely they will be undoubted a hot favourite in the Europe region as we look forward to the upcoming Dota Pro Circuit!
